I had not been to see a dentist in over 25 years until after I retired in 2018 and then found Dr. Joseph Dickens’ practice in 2020 when setting up my senior citizen’s panel of medical / dental providers. Dr. Dickens and his entire team make you feel so comfortable, almost like going to a friend’s house for conversation and tea/coffee. He and his team are extremely well-organized, welcoming, warmly professional & take a personal interest not only in the best dental hygiene & maintenance to practice, but also in you & your background and general interests as a person. During a typical dental visit, Dr. Dickens and his team explain things step by step very clearly, are very punctual and engage regularly in casual humor to make things much easier and comfortable while in the chair. Great music is piped quietly in the background, too! Dr. Dickens as well as his team do everything to keep appointments smoothly scheduled and incredibly organized w/ consistent communication and follow-up calls. I find myself very, very lucky that after all these years of dreading a visit to a dentist, that Dr. Dickens’& his staff have completely dispelled that fear. Thank you!

Joe and his staff are excellent. My wife and kids were patients of his before me and the first time I visited his practice was when I brought my youngest to his semi-annual checkup. Although I was already a patient of a different dentist (for 20 years), I asked him questions regarding some concerns I had about my own teeth. He offered to take a quick look and after 5 minutes, using state of the art equipment, he found 3 cavities! They were very early stage but my regular dentist missed them completely. I have been a patient of Dr. Joseph Dickens ever since.

This is my way of truly APPRECIATING Dr. Dickens on his effort of showing value to his patients and dental service. He makes sure everyone is not missed and is treated fairly. He is a man with a genuine heart. He takes time getting to know his patients and makes every dental appointment comfortable. I can’t believe it has been 7 or 8 long years to be exact under his dental care. I completely trust him with all my dental health and I have GREAT respect on his expertise. He takes time explaining details on certain procedures and makes sure you understand everything. He is very personal and very positive. I believe it is very important that you have a good rapport with your dentist and that you know you are in good hands. I believe that’s what Dr. Dickens is. HIGHLY recommended. :-)

I am so happy I found Dr. Dickens .... and a dental office I am extremely comfortable with. I have been to several dentists over the last 10 years, never being satisfied with either the dentist or staff to stay very long. I heard great things about Dr. Dickens from coworkers and went to him for the first time last year. I’ve been back for cleanings and work a few times and I am excited to finally have a permanent dental home. Dr. Dickens is caring, never makes you feel rushed, and his staff is super sweet. I highly recommend his office.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Dickens for quite a few years now. Everytime we leave his office we are always talking about how great he is. He is very professional, friendly, and caring and you can tell that he really loves his job. He always takes his time to find out what is going on with his patients and always remembers from appointment to appointment. It is very difficult these days to find doctors that are not rushing through their appointments and treating patients as "just another patient", but Dr. Dickens and his wonderful assistants and secretary treat everyone great and truly try to get to know the patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Dickens to everyone.
