Towson Dental -Dr. Gloria McMenamin, DDS DMD PA

Its been about 5 years since I went here but I STILL have a large scar from when they sliced my lip while giving me a filling. I was already numb and they acted like nothing happened and it wasn’t until later that day that I realized how much I was bleeding from *outside* of my mouth. No apology. No accountability. They totally played dumb and had the audacity to instead, lecture me about how many fillings I needed, and about how I should go to the dentist more. *I was NOT moving too much.*

Had a root canal here and she cut my tongue and my lip open and didn’t even tell me until after. She shamed me for having a fear of the dentist and also shamed me for not wanting to fix the chip in my front tooth. When I explained how the chip is not very noticeable and I don’t want to fix it she told me that if I fixed it I would then be beautiful. I did not feel welcome and comforted when using her as a dentist and will not be returning.

Dr. McMenamin is a great dentist, she informs you of what procedures are going to be done. She also informs you of how to care for your teeth in a better manner and is overall a sweet person. If you need to go to a dentist in the Towson area shes the best, you can tell she really has a passion for her career and is knowledgeable! The staff is really friendly as well!

I have been going here for years. The dentist explains things very well, and is nice. The hygienists are all very nice, although sometimes the conversations get a little too personal (not in a bad way, I’m just not used to such detail, but it passes the time). My teeth always look great after an appointment, and they keep them healthier than most other dentists I’ve been to, especially my gums. The dentist is a bit heavy-handed though, so she hurts a little more than other dentists, but she is also more thorough and does better quality work I feel. The new office they are in is very clean and new. My only complaint is that billing is weird, I think I was over charged, but the way they did the billing was so strange that I had to fax it over to my insurance company so that they could sort it out and figure out if I need a refund from being over charged, but I don’t think it was purposeful at all.

I’ve been going here for a year now since I moved to the Baltimore area. I’m very impressed with the service. Dr. Gloria McMenamin is really knowledgeable and they use cutting edge technology. I have had my clean cleaned at Towson Dental with Dr. Gloria McMenamin twice now, a filling taken care of and now teeth whitening. Their office is new and modern with lots of light and big windows. Definitely my pick for a dentist in the Baltimore and Towson area.
