I was seen for emergency wisdom tooth extraction (same day)! I was in and out in an hour and 30 minutes... meaning NEW PATIENT paperwork, xray, exam, numbing agent, extraction! DONE. The team was very efficient, professional, clean, and informative from the time I walked in the door. I must also mention this was during the COVID-19 quarantine. I’m so thankful they were willing to help me. Thank you Horizon Dental staff! #ROCKSTARPERFORMANCE :)

The extraction was a lot quicker than I thought it was going to take. I was a little upset my mother couldn’t stay with me in the room, but with it being as small as it is and the doctors needing to move around, it’s understandable. The initial needles were uncomfortable, but after that I couldn’t really feel anything. I did feel the pressure of them pulling and could hear the drill over my headphones but they made sure I was okay throughout the procedure. After they were done they had me sit with oxygen for a few minutes to help clear out the nitrous oxide they gave me and was able to walk.

Dr. Yalamanchili was excellent. She was patient in explaining my procedure before, during and after. She constantly kept checking in with me to ensure I was ok. Her touch was gentle, she was kind and very humble, not brass or pushy. For an oral surgeon, I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend her. I have chosen her to be my choice for any future work I have to have. She definitely changed my mind about switching to another dental practice. She even commended me for doing a great job, even though I was being a wimp in the beginning. I am not a fan of going to the dentist, ever. Lol Thank you Dr. Yalamanchili for making my visit and procedure a positive experience.

To start off....I have severe dental phobia! I had oral surgery yesterday at the Towson Surgery Center with Dr. Yalamanchili. Everyone was wonderful. The nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr Y...all the way to the front office. They made me feel so comfortable and they were so nice to me. I never even got nervous. Dr. Y did a great job and I’ll definitely be going back to her for the rest of my work. I thank them all!
