Strong Smiles Dental Center - Odenton

Do not use this dental office. Had an appointment scheduled. Called to confirm the appointment that morning. After driving 30 minutes to the office, the individual at the front desk informed that I did not have an appointment. They went on to say that the call center (apparently the number on Google is not the actual office number) was incorrect and asked if I wanted to reschedule. They were not joking and I declined to reschedule. On my 30 minute drive home, I called the call center again, who again confirmed my appointment. In an effort to prevent this from happening to someone else, I asked if this issue could be escalated. They said no, and that the only option for me to get assistance was to talk to someone at the actual office. In short, I strongly recommend that folks do not use Strong Smiles.

Revised review. After apologizing for the mixup I was seen fairly quickly for my cleaning. I’ve also since had two bridges done with good results. Hope to have more quality work done in the future. Terrible. Scheduled a cleaning appointment in March for a date in September. Came in on time for my appointment and was promptly told my appointment was canceled. The lady at the desk said a notification was sent but this is untrue. I have every text and email from them and there is nothing saying my appointment was cancelled. The lady at the desk was unsympathetic and insisted that she did nothing wrong and only offered to put me on a waiting list. Will be looking for another dentist.

I went for a chipped tooth and annual cleaning. They recommended I replace my fillings with crowns stating they were cracked. One of my replaced teeth is now very sensitive to water and my jaw alignment is off, causing popping. I was suspicious and should have never gotten these services done. My prior dentist said I had hairline fractures but they weren’t going to impact me if I left them alone. They never impacted me until this doctor.

I am not sure where these reviews are coming from but I base going to the doctor on reviews and so I have been researching all day. I want a dentist that has more than one general dentist and does most things in house. I was super excited when I found this website and read the reviews and the bios of the dentist and the services. I currently have pain and need to see a dentist so was happy to see that according to their site they are open and have appointments 7 DAYS a Week from 7am - 7pm. Well, that’s clearly a lie. I called the phone rang for quite some time and than took a few minutes for someone to answer the phone. Ugh I have an answering service. He checks my insurance and says your good to go "Now let me see if the office is open". What? It says they are open until 7. He comes back and confirms the office is closed. Not only are they closed they apparently are only open Monday - Friday from 8am to 3pm somedays and 4pm other days. This is a team of numerous dentists and they are only open until 3 or 4 when there website clearly says 7-7, 7 days a week. On top of that the site says they offer emergency services but he can’t get me in until next year? What a waste of my time. Now I am back to the drawing board to find a competent dentist.

My local office in Silver Spring closed so this was my first time at the Odenton office. The front desk (Natalie) was great! The hygienist (Shelly) was fantastic, gave a great cleaning and was very personable. Dr. Nateghi was thorough and explained my questions well. Good crew and overall experience. I will stick with this office!
