I just had my wisdom teeth removed by Timothy J. Carrion. It was zero compassion from him and his aid. How can you stick a needle in somebody’s gum without any warning or explanation what you are about to do? I’m a registered nurse and we don’t go to patients and give them medication or injection or any treatment without explaining and make sure they are ready. The reasonable way is to tell the patient: I’m about to give you this injection...; it’s to numb the area... you gonna feel a little stick... Sometimes, we even count 1 to 3. You don’t just tell our patients "open your mouth, bite this down, and then surprise them with needle in their gum and then get mad at them for feeling a pain and jumping and screaming. He walked out saying: I’ll give you some time and when I’m back, you tell me if you can do this awake. That was an horrible experience and his practice is questionable. I have to see where and how to report this atrocity!! I’ll NEVER EVER schedule anything with him or refer anyone even if he is the last orthopedic on planet!

I like Dr. Ulery. He is a good dentist. It however is extremely hard to connect with the office. You have to leave a message and hope someone calls back.I had dental surgery(with a visiting surgeon) last week and have been experiencing extreme pain. The pharmacy would not fill the pain prescription I was given. I have not been able to connect with anyone for advice on the pain I have been experiencing. I also did not receive any instructions for post surgery (ice packs etc). After googling I realize I should have done that, but dental surgeon did not tell me that or anything else about post surgery-what to do or what to expect beyond giving me the prescription I could not get filled. I am four days out and taking lots of over the counter pills which don’t work too well.... Follow up to the initial review-After several weeks, my review has changed. I was given post-surgery instructions, however, in my pain and discomfort, I placed them on the car’s seat, they fell underneath the seat, and I did not find them for days later. I do wish I had received verbal as well as written instructions. The second time I called the emergency line, I was able to reach someone and come in for emergency treatment the next morning. The third time I called the emergency line, I received a call back the next day. I went in for treatment again Monday AM. I have a condition called "dry socket" a complication following extraction which has been extraordinarily painful now for three weeks (especially the first two weeks). I wish there was more they could do. My pharmacist was unable to reach the office for a refill of my ibuprofen prescription (available over the counter but not in the strength prescribed).

I’ve been going there for a years and it’s absolutely frustrating to schedule cleanings.The absolute worst system for scheduling general cleanings and check ups. They’re on a month to month scheduling system and tell you to call 3 or 6 months later on the 1st of that month. I even went up there in person to try and schedule a cleaning and it couldn’t be done. Front desk needs a new operating system for appointments. Also I’ve been told by two different dentists’ different opinions about my wisdom teeth. One says to pull them and an additional tooth and another says they’re never gonna grow in, so you shouldn’t get them removed. Immediately getting a new dentist after my experience!

Dr. Ulery and his team are great. He cares about his patients and their welfare. BTW, he so chilled and has a good sense of humor, too. He’s my 5-star Dentist. He took real good care of me today. 👊🏽👍🏽 T. Wilson
