Straighten Up Orthodontics

My children and I have been going to Straighten Up, an orthodontist’s office, for about 5 years now. However, we have noticed that the staff can be quite unfriendly, Justin, who works at the front desk. Justin is very rude and unwelcoming, both in his tone of voice and his lack of greetings when we walk in or even call. Despite wanting to switch to a different orthodontist, I have not been able to do so because I am currently undergoing treatment. I am not one to typically write reviews, but Justin’s behavior is so unacceptable that I felt compelled to share my experience. After all, it costs nothing to be kind to people. Do better !And also the material they uses on my daughter teeth seem to come off quickly .

I’d give 10 stars if I could! Before I was even a patient, Dr. Wiltshire took me in for an emergency procedure to cut my wire after a bracket broke for no charge. I later transferred my treatment to their office and to my surprise, they remembered me! As a deaf person, they were extremely accommodating and welcoming. Their manager, Justin, is kind and does an amazing job. Highly recommend!

My kids and I have been going to this ortho office for some time now. As DC residents the commute alone is 35 -55 minutes depending on the day. And we’ve been attending Straighten up going on approx 5/6 years. For the most all parties are nice and welcoming but Justin at the front desk by far takes the cake with his rudeness. His greetings or lack there of and tone of voice make us feel so unwelcoming walking in or even calling. To the point for the last several years I’ve been attempting to change orthos but can’t apparently (due to being in the middle of treatment). I’m not even one to do reviews but he’s so ridiculous that here I am. It pays nothing to be nice to people.

Dr. Wiltshire is the best! She is warm and friendly and explains everything about the process. She changed my mouth from an embarrassment into a source of pride. I love the environment and the staff -- all warm and friendly. I highly recommend their services.

Complete professionalism, from the front to the back the staff members are awesome. They helpful answers all questions so that my daughter and I understand the process and what to expect. My daughter is extremely happy with her braces and the painless process in getting her perfect smile. Clean office, very festive and always smells great with their selections of candles. I have nothing but great things to say about this office. And affordable payment plans. Highly recommended for you to achieve your perfect smile.
