I scheduled a cleaning with the office 6 months in advance. The office notified me last minute that were moving my appointment from 1:00pm to 12:40pm I was running 15 min late trying to make the new time and they cancelled my entire appointment. I was about 10 min away and driven 40 min to get there for nothing. It’s pretty clear they had overbooked and wanted an excuse to take me off the schedule. If you want reliable service, go elsewhere.

I went to Pointer Ridge Dental twice. The second time, I asked for a VELscope procedure and despite my request, the hygienist did not do it.

The Doctors at that this location are efficient, nice, & informative which is great. However, I have had consistent customer service issues with the front desk staff & vendor that they use to schedule appointments. Very rude and demeaning - would much rather find another provide than to deal with the lack of service.

I have gone to this dentist for years and even after management changed decided to stay but NOTHING has been the same and on this past Saturday-3/16/2024 was enough! I called before I was reminded I had an upcoming cleaning appointment because I had pain in my tooth. The same tooth that was suppose to get filled my last dentist appointment. They took the X-rays and I’m sure was paid. I get there someone I don’t even know calls me back to the back but I’m looking like where is Carla? Then I ask and I am told she no longer is what the company. I’m disturbed I was not told this information but when the woman I don’t know her name because she never introduced herself said she don’t believe no one was there to fill a cavity if that was what my pain. I’m perplexed and explain THAT IS THE reason for my visit! At this point I’m done I just tell her no disrespect but I am going to have to cancel and look for another dentist. When I was walked to the front counter I asked if I could use the restroom before I leave was escorted to the vacant building next door, receptionist unlocked the door. Dirty old building. I would NOT recommend this dentist office. Also... when I was checking in I overheard the receptionist tell another consumer he too could not get his tooth filled because the person wasn’t there. GARBAGE

Over $700 bill when I was quoted for far less. I definitely would have not come here. I’ve never paid that much before. They waited until after the service to check to make sure the insurance info was in... I had to come back multiple times to get my teeth looked at for things to be fixed after coming for a service. They tried to help. The $700 charge is my biggest annoyance. The people are nice. Another time, I was given anesthesia and immediately felt lightheaded and had difficulty breathing. The dentist started saying I was having a panic attack. I’ve never had one before and have never felt how I felt after thr anesthesia was given. I’ve gotten anesthesia so many other times and no issues.
