Not a big fan of going to the dentist, ever since a little kid but Dr. Haynes and his assistants are always nice and welcoming. Went to another place down the street for a dental emergency, and they didn’t do nothing, I was in pain and couldn’t really crew my food. Originally, Dr. Haynes doesn’t provide emergency care but when I scheduled my appointment with him to have it check out, he patched up the issue to reduce the pain and pointed me towards the right direction. I would definitely recommend. Best dentist I know!

Giving one star. I would give 0, if possible. My retainers were cracked by a family member...I got my braces in Jersey and to avoid the unnecessary costs of going up there for a few days, I figured I would use my sister’s orthodontist. I called as a new patient on February 1 and requested an appointment. When I asked for an appointment card or confirmation email, the request was declined citing they don’t do this for new patients (first time I’ve ever been told this from a doctor’s office). Okay, fine. Their earliest opening was in late August/early September so I ask the secretary to reserve the time. My phone messed up on a trip so my calendar was caput. I called to check the date/time and I was told I must have missed my appointment because they had nothing on file...absolutely did not. I wouldn’t wait several months just to have my teeth revert back to how they were only to miss an appointment that has been #1 on my to-do list since last year. I have been calling for DAYS, mind you, and left two voicemails with my information but no one got back to me. This is extremely frustrating. Incredibly inconvenient. TERRIBLE wait times for new patients...if you’re looking for a new orthodontist, it might be best to find somewhere else with better customer service.

I was there in Apr 2021 for a cleaning; apparently I had a cavity but they asked me to come back in 6-months for my next cleaning and they would fill the cavity at that time. Say what?! WHY WAIT 6-MONTHS if I have a cavity now! My new dentist was FURIOUS when I told her this. Plus, I just rec’d a bill in the mail from them for $100, but I haven’t been there for 9-months now! I called and they said I missed some appointments last Fall. Hello? Pick up the phone and call me! I didn’t get any txt msgs, I didn’t get any emails...I just rec’d the $100.10 bill in the mail! They only got the 1-star from me because I called to complain and the Billing Dept said she’d cut the amount in half. But I didn’t get any money from THEM when I showed up for my appointment a couple of years ago and the office was closed for ’cpr class’. I showed them the appt card and all...but nope, I didn’t get anything for my inconvenience!

I have been going to University Centre Dental seeing both Dr. Maurice Haynes and Dr. Elizabeth Haynes for the past year. This is my first time writing any type of review ever, but I just had to share my amazing experience with Centre Dental. Prior to finding them, I struggled with finding a consistent reliable knowledgeable place to serve all of my dental needs. From the first phone call, to the first consultation, to the first cleaning, and orthodontic procedures… I have been treated like family. It is impossible to be a patient here and not become close with the staff. Everyone is warm, loving, supportive, and friendly. The fact they were able to find such an amazing team at all levels/positions is pretty astounding to me. Not only has my dental health improved greatly (it was really bad before) but they worked with me financially to make sure I was able to get all the care I needed. They practically saved my teeth with their care, education, and skills. I am so happy and feel like I got a gift by finding them! Anyone looking for a place that works with your schedule and financial needs, and are thoughtful, extremely knowledgeable and dental care with great customer service should go here. I would give them a hundred stars if possible!

I have been going to this practice for a long time. Perhaps 7 years and every one at the clinic are very friendly, treat you like family. The doctors are professionals and they do a fantastic job. Orthodontist chair assistant are very friendly and cheerful. I have nothing but positive feedback from the entire team. Thanks for all your help and keep up the great job.. Marlon
