Truly a wonderful experience (I feel like that is hard to say about the dentist)! Dr. P is very transparent, kind, knowledgeable, and available. You really feel her attention and care! I’m in good hands here.

After avoiding going to the dentist for many years out of fear, I finally made an appointment at Dimples Dental Suite in DC. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Presson. She takes the time to thoroughly explain each step in the process and walked me through my X rays so I could fully understand what follow up was necessary. Kind, patient, and tells it like it is, which I greatly appreciated.

First: I filled out some forms online. There was an error. So I filled them out again. A day or so later, the office calls me and asks me to do it AGAIN. I get to the office and have to fill it out...yet again, delaying my start time. The dentist comes out and the first thing she says is, This is why we ask you all to do this online. After telling her, she backtrack saying they’ve had issues with the system. If you had issues, why did you come out front being rude? Second: while being prepped by the technician/assistant she starts asking personal questions like is my hair real. This is my first visit BTW Third: The dentist rushes through my appt saying that when she gets a man the late appts like the one I had that day are not going to get her time. (Mind you I had driven straight from my own job to her office in traffic simply to try to support a woman of color) Last: She rushes out, leaving me with an analysis of thousands of dollars of dental work. And when I eventually got a second opinion, it was a fraction of that. Three stars is honestly generous

The best experience I’ve ever had with a dentist. She adds a personal touch that cannot be compared. From the comfortable chairs in the lounge area to the calming scents in the entire office, Dr. Presson has made me enjoy going to to the dentist again. I definitely recommend her for the P.O.C community because personally it’s been challenging and having someone who looks like me not only understand but be relatable is and has been proven to be effective.

She called me to reschedule, and I was O.K. that. Then she runs my medicaid insurance and says I have to pay out of pocket for Xrays we had done a month ago. I asked why and she flipped out and said I cut her off. She kept saying I’m the doctor and then basically asked me if i was sure i wanted to come at all. I was lime what. Mam i just asked why we had to pay anything. This doctor does this so she doesn’t have to see medicaid patients. To scare them away. This black women disappointed me seeing that she trying to take advantage of her own community. I was proud of her but not now. Such a disappointment.
