Amazing Team 3Highly Recommended 2My daughter is a patient at Orthodontics of Cambridge and she got her braces off this morning after having them on for 18 months. I am still in awe at how absolutely perfect and straight her teeth are now and I’m pleasantly surprised at the seemingly short amount of time it took for her teeth to be brought into alignment. Dr. Murthy did an amazing job and I couldn’t be any more happy with the results. My daughter had dreaded getting braces but Dr. Murthy and his office staff, Sarah in particular, made the entire process as pleasant, easy and as painless as you can get starting with the initial consultation right on through to the removal of her braces today. I’ve never written a Google review before, but I decided to write one today about Orthodontics of Cambridge because I really cannot recommend Dr. Murthy enough. Not only is he an exceptional Orthodontist, but he’s also a friendly and pleasant guy who my teenage daughter felt completely comfortable around and with whom she developed a wonderful rapport over the past year and a half. The office staff are nothing short of amazing. They are so nice, very accommodating and on the ball with everything. My daughter would always look forward to seeing Sarah at her regular appointments for tightening and adjustments every couple of months or so. Before meeting and deciding to go with Dr. Murthy, we had a few other consultations with Orthodontists in the area. I cannot speak to the quality of the other doctors’ work as compared to the exceptional quality of Dr. Murthy’s, but I can confidently say that one thing which stands out that differentiates Orthodontics of Cambridge from the others is the absolute loveliness of Dr. Murthy and his office staff and the warm and inviting atmosphere of the entire office as a whole. Another thing I really liked that was different from the other Orthodontists with whom we consulted is the payment process offered at Orthodontics of Cambridge. After the initial consultation, you are given a quote and that quote not only covers the cost of the application and removal of the braces but it also covers the cost of every appointment that follows, as well as several repairs during the course of the treatment if needed. I found it helpful to receive one up front price for everything and I appreciated not having to worry about any additional or hidden costs popping up during the course of my daughter’s treatment. Sarah was great about explaining the payment process and was extremely patient and knowledgeable whenever any questions came up on our end, no matter how insignificant the question or how many times she had to repeat herself. Something else that I found to be unique to Orthodontics of Cambridge was the ease of paying. If paying the full price up front is difficult, there is an option to make one initial down payment followed by monthly payments, the amount of which can basically be determined by the patient. The online payment system they use has a tool that calculates the monthly amount the patient would be expected to pay based on the amount of the initial down payment and, if I’m recalling correctly, the number of months the payments are spread out over can be adjusted in order to make the monthly payment amounts either larger or smaller depending on what works within the patient’s budget. Braces are going to be expensive no matter where you go, but I found that the total cost of my daughter’s braces at Orthodontics of Cambridge was several thousands of dollars less than the quotes we received elsewhere. The quality of Dr. Murthy’s work however is top tier and the notion that more expensive = better does not apply in this case. Between Dr. Murthy and Sarah, they made the entire process very simple and easy, for both my daughter and I, right from the outset. If my children or I ever have the need for an Orthodontist again, I would not hesitate or think twice about going right back to Dr. Murthy and Orthodontics of Cambridge.

Dr. Murthy gave me an incredible smile, closed my gap and cross-bite with Invisalign Aligners. I was turned away by two other orthodontists in the area because of my bite and medical history. Dr.Murthy is amazing!

My smile has never looked better! Dr. Murphy did a wonderful job fixing my overbite and realigning my teeth (now my mouth can fully close!). His knowledge and passion of his craft shines through the whole process. During my appointments, I always felt comfortable and assured with him because of his honesty and practicality with the expectations and realities. Even though I had a set back, he was kind and accommodating, allowing more time for my teeth to set. Through his efforts, we were able to finish on time! Also, a shoutout to Sarah! It’s always a pleasure to talk with and see her at the front desk. Overall, Dr. Murphy and his team are professional and very welcoming. Definitely, recommend to anyone in need of a beautiful smile!
