Today I was scheduled to get my wisdom tooth extracted. In February I had gone to Fr Ferro after my experience with fillings removed from a previous Dentist- Orbit Dental. As my second opinion appointment with Dr Ferro went well and he confirmed what had gone wrong on my previous dental work was causing me so much pain, he stated that if I needed anything to come back and he would be more than happy to help. About a week ago I noticed a soreness to my tooth and I started getting a suction feeling when I would eat or drink, as If my tooth was no longer attached to my gum allowing air to go through it which started to get annoying So I finally decided to get my tooth pulled completely since I have had so many issues with it this year. I set up an appointment to get it extracted. I am at the appointment in the chair waiting for Dr. Ferro and in he comes in asking me what was going on and I explained everything to him and when I told him that I wanted to get this tooth extracted he right away started telling me that he was not sure I should get it extracted because it might not be a good idea, it might cause other issues, when he suggested a Root Canal, I told him that I did not want a root canal, this is when he got upset because I said No to a root canal. He tried to say that it’s not a good idea to get it extracted unless I get a Root Canal again I said No, he got so upset that he raised his voice and said Are you going to sign a Waiver for the extraction and I said Yes , he asked me if I have ever had a tooth pulled and I said yes my wisdom and I believe your the Dentist that extracted it years ago and he still was upset, he started to give me the Numbing Cream on my gums and with anger he started saying , he can refuse to service me because he has every right to do so and still getting me prepared for the extraction when I asked to get the suction to get the saliva out of my mouth because the numbing stuff was going down my throat he immediately stopped and loudly said I am not doing this, I can’t and said I can leave without any charges since X-rays were taken.. Bottom line he tried to convince me that I needed a Root Canal. Horrible Be Side Manners and I feel bad that his dental assistant has to work with this, he had an Office full of patients and you could hear him from other rooms! I left the same way i walked in, with my decision Not to go for the You Need A Root Canal because it’s My Choice as well! Never again!

Dr Ferro is a superb dentist with the time tested approach the work is not done until it is done perfectly. He is meticulous and precise in his work. This is a dentist dedicated to his patient in providing the utmost in dental care. ADDITIONALLY, his staff of angels are in the same category of caring, kindness, understanding and going the extra mile to insure the patients are well care for. Hats off and kudos to one an all.

Very good experience. The Dentists take very good care of you. I’ve gotten multiple procedures such as fillings/extractions and they always do a great job managing my pain as well as making the process as comfortable as possible. They staff is also very Kind.

My family has been with Dr. Ferro for over a quarter of a century. We followed him after he moved office (even 45 mins.away).They all are so wonderful and so attentive to your needs. I cannot say enough about Dr. Ferro and his staff. If you need dental work done Dr. Ferro is the one. Michele will get an appointment, Erica, Andy will give you a sparkle smile. They listen and will help you to plan out your needs for a beautiful smile. After all, your smiles are what people see first. Love them!!

Dr. Joseph Ferro and his staff are the best dental office around. Corina is awesome as well! She is compassionate, professional, and has a great sense of humor. She makes you feel at ease during the procedures. Dr. Ferro takes his time, explains everything, and really does a phenomenal job. I highly recommend Dr. Joseph Ferro as the best dentist around.
