I lost my splint about 2 years ago and I’ve been trying to get it replaced since, but “they haven’t been able to make a new one because of Covid” Now apparently dr crystal has retired and his son the new head orthodontist “can’t make them” I payed over 3000 dollars for this treatment and can’t get a replacement splint now? I tried to get one before dr crystal left two years ago.. They’ve basically said your out of luck and offered 0 help in obtaining a new one from somewhere else. What a terrible practice. Bring your business elsewhere.

We have had 3 appointments so far for my daughter. The first appointment was the initial consultation and went incredibly well. Dr. Jesse and his staff was super nice, professional, and related very well with my daughter. Our second appointment (first "real" visit) was an absolute disaster. We waited over an hour to be called back. When I inquired about our wait, I was told that other emergency appointments came in and took precedence over our appointment. It would have been nice to be informed of that beforehand and the option given to reschedule. The tech (I am not sure their job title) that worked on my daughter was unprofessional. She never introduced herself and just started doing things without explaining anything. My daughter started crying (pain, been there and done that with braces and appliances myself in the past) and the tech did nothing to reassure her. I sat back for awhile, but then stepped in to comfort my daughter. On to our most recent and last visit. Wait was 30 minutes, still not thrilled, but at least it’s getting better. The first tech was worst than our one from last time (didn’t think that was possible). Kierra NEVER introduced herself (I got her name from her shirt), didn’t explain anything that was going to happen, and seemed to be annoyed we were even there. She was rude, barely talked to us, and talked down about us to Dr. Carmen. Again, my daughter was in tears from the pain and no one seems to care. It wasn’t until Dr. Carmen came over did he actually listen that the retainer was hurting my daughter’s mouth. After several attempts, he suggested that we send the appliance back to the lab, which was a completely acceptable solution to me. At this point, he was the ONLY person that seemed to care about anything. Kierra then "attempted" to work on more stuff in my daughter’s mouth then kind of threw some of her equipment down in a fit and stormed off. Enter Lindsay (another tech) which was a ray of shining hope at the office. She INTRODUCED HERSELF, said what she was going to do, talked to my daughter, talked to me. I was so taken aback . . . I didn’t realize anyone did that at this office. Lindsay actually listened to my daughter and asked her what was hurting and where it was hurting. After a couple attempts, Lindsay was able to get the appliance on with minimal pain. If she hadn’t stepped in, I was close to leaving. I will give Dr. Carmen’s office another chance, but that is only because of Lindsay . . . you should probably give her a raise!

I’ve been a patient with the Carmen’s for a about a year. I was told that my treatment plan would last till next year. I got the best news yesterday when I was told that my braces could come off at the end of August. This has been a long rode for me and I’m happy that i have doctors who cared enough and did everything they could to make me have the best smile.

I was bounced from Dr. to Dr. trying to diagnose my ear pain the next resort was brain surgery, they believed it was neurological. As a last resort my dentist recommended I get checked for TMJ with Dr. Carmen and within seconds of looking at me Dr. Carmen said my jaw was very off. I finally had my long awaited diagnoses. TMJ is no joke and I can say that I have been set up with a very successful treatment plan and am 100% happier than this time last year and NO BRAIN SURGERY!!

My daughter has been going to Carmen Orthodontics for about 2 years now. Her first phase of braces was completed a few months ago and the transformation of her smile is amazing! Her confidence has been boosted and her teeth are perfect! She continues to go for checkups every 4-6 months for now until she loses the rest of her baby teeth to start Phase 2 and the staff are always so friendly and comforting with her. I would highly recommend Carmen Orthodontics!
