Amazing Team 2Cleaning 3I had my first exam & cleaning this morning after ~7(!) years of avoiding the dentist for a number of reasons. The check in & out was friendly and seamless. My hygienist Meredith was very considerate and gentle throughout the entire cleaning - amazing. Dr. Halasa performed my exam and made sure to check in as he was explaining everything and has me feeling comfortable for my subsequent visits. This stuff is never fun or cheap, but I left today confident that I’m in the right hands and have the correct plan to move forward. They’ve definitely converted a very anxious, reluctant patient into a confident & eager one - in one session. Thank you!

I was shocked recently to come in for what I thought was a routine cleaning and was told about a diagnosis in my chart I was not clearly informed about that would require extensive painful cleaning on my teeth every time I came in for normal care. The deep cleaning I agreed to was explained as a way to better help my dental hygiene. I switched to Polaris dental care since it considered as in network with my insurance last July. I have kept up with routine cleanings and care at my previous dentist who was definitely a least invasive treatment proponent, never having any issues or concerns with recommendations and explanations front the hygienists. Unfortunately they are not fully covered under my plan and I decided to look at reviews and go with suggestions from the insurance. MY first visit, I was quoted a large amount of expensive dental work. The crowns I understood but the deep cleaning was added on during my initial cleaning. My fault for not getting a second opinion before signing a release. It was not clearly explained why this cleaning was necessary other than it would be the best course of action for future dental health and a fresh start. Seeing as I went back for a 3 month followup and things were healing and looking better, I assumed that was that. Never once were the terrifying words "bone loss" mentioned to me in my treatment (about 7-8 appointments in less than a year mind you). Not happy. This seems negligient at best but more nefarious if the worse case scenario is true. Please double check and get a second opinion if you have any concerns. It is unacceptable to mislead and not discuss treatment with patients and make sure they know what they are expecting to receive moving forward on their treatment plan, especially if it is much more expensive. It is not a good excuse to say to a patient "well I’m sorry, but you have serious issues in your mouth that weren’t fully explained, but you signed a release so..." Bad care and customer service. I’d rather pay the 10% at my old dentist than come back here where my trust was broken.

Polaris dental care is great! I’ve been coming here for years and haven’t had any issues yet! Dr. Halasa was great! In addition, he plays great music!

Dr. Irfan Khan and the whole team are incredible! They ensured I was comfortable, and kept me informed as to what they are doing while doing it. Every person on staff here is so welcoming! They always are kind, calm, and prepared. I’ll recommend Polaris Dental Care to anyone and everyone!

Had the best experience ever!!! I am literally still in the chair after getting a cleaning from Jennifer and she is so professional, gentle, great at her job and friendly! I am usually shy and really nervous but that went right away after being with her. The office is very clean and everyone is friendly. Would definitely recommend!!
