Cleaning 3I relocated to Texas about 7 years ago and was referred by my aunt. This is was of the best and professional establishments and businesses in the DFW area. Today my hygienist was Casey and she was so gentle but yet got the job done. She was also friendly and personable. Can’t wait to return in December for my next cleaning.

I was one of the Henegar’s Dental patients so I’ve been going for almost 26 years. I live in Grapevine but it’s so worth driving to Las Colinas. There office staff is wonderful and so easy to work with. Worth every minute driving to have my teeth cleaned, fixed or whatever is necessary.

Dr. Arthur Henegar is an excellent dentist. Besides being extremely competent, he has a way of explaining any procedure with compassion and patience. Additionally, he is very personable. His name and picture should be included with the definition of bedside manner in any dictionary.

Until today, I never had anything negative to say about this dental practice. I’ve been a patient for well over 10 years. But my experience today was humiliating. My appointment was scheduled 3 months ago to come in for a cleaning which I thought was covered under my insurance. When I get there, my hygienist whom has done a great job with my teeth was not there and they had rescheduled me with a new guy. It would’ve been nice if they had called to let me know. And I could’ve decided if I still wanted to come or reschedule. Then the hygienist who they rescheduled me with seemed like a nice guy, but there was an odor coming from either his clothes or body. Which made it uncomfortable since he is leaning over you. After the cleaning was over, I go to pay and the lady at the front desk says I need to pay $100 for services today which I’ve never heard of for a regular cleaning. Then when I tell her I was not prepared to pay that today. She acts as if she wants to hold me hostage over $100 which keep in mind, I’ve given this practice thousands of dollars not only for my oral care, but my daughters, and I even referred friends and family. On top of that, I just paid them over $1,000 back in December 2020 and have never in over 10 years left that office with a balance. Some way to treat your loyal patients. The entire situation left me feeling like I was betrayed by someone close to me. As I have always respected the people in this practice and thought of them as kinda family. I don’t know what has happened to this practice. After the pandemic I noticed that they have let several great hygienist go and also the guy who I recently went to. And the front desk ladies, with the exception of one, are unprofessional and seem clueless.

I called with an emergency and the office staff worked me in same day. I was able to see the dentist have all my issues resolved. The staff were super kind and thoughtful about my pain levels. The pricing was very reasonable and i will be back. They were even able to set up a cleaning after same day.
