ive been going to Willamette dental since i was a child. I’m 30 years old today. im on a medication that i have been on for years. i wouldn’t say it helps for pain simply because it has done nothing to help the pain im in right now. i had an emergency appointment at willamette dental the one that’s on Jefferson downtown Portland but had to schedule my tooth extraction like a month out to the specialTy clinic in Tigard. i am in excruciating pain and they told me they sent my pain meds to the pharmacy remind You it is Friday so i get all the way to the pharmacy and they never sent it so i i called and they said "we apologize but we sent it now" I’m in so much pain waiting and they only sent mouth wash i just didn’t even bother because if i did all of a. Sudden i would have been drug seeking even though there’s a hole about as big as an eye socket in my mouth . I’m in so much pain i believe i have a dry socket i don’t even want to ever go in there again and my freaking kids have appintments there coming up I’m changing immediately and I’m giving this place no stars!!!!!

I’ve been trying to make an appointment here for 2 months. No call back at all. I understand that there is limited availability with only one general dentist. They do not provide alternatives.

Did not feel heard about my concerns. I thought the pressure to pull my molar would break my jaw, was not told until after my tooth was out that they had to remove a portion of my jaw bone inorder to get my tooth out. I was sent home with one change out of gauze. When I could not get the bleeding under controlled I had to go through a call center and wait for hours before getting a call back. Willamette dental did oral surgery, refused to use gas or get me comfortable and did not send me home with proper supply’s and did not supply me with their Tigard office phone number so I could call for concerns. I all ready had trust issues with dentist and now 0 trust with Tigard Willamette, and they said they were a speciality oral surgery? Very unprofessional experience. Please do your home work and do not settle.

Needed 2 extractions - not fun. But, my dentist & technician made the experience as comfortable as possible. They also answered all my questions thoroughly & kindly. I felt completly confident in their expertise.

The only reason why I use Willamette Dental is because it was paid for by my job this year we have to pay extra to have the privilege of working with these people you cannot get an appointment more than 60 days out you cannot get an appointment because when you call back in for your 30- days to make an appointment that you need there’s no more room to have an appointment made this creates excessive waiting between care which in turn causes extra wear. They have pamphlets all over their offices about the best care for your teeth and the best dental practices and yet they don’t follow them themselves and they will not pay for anybody else to do the work. An example of this would be trying to get an implant for a missing tooth the insurance only covers $1,500 of the cost and pays nothing for the tooth that goes on to the implant because that’s considered cosmetic. Overall the dentist say that they do the best with what is available from the company.
