Young Kidz Dental: Todd Young DDS

Always a positive experience for my kids! Dr Young and his staff create a safe, clean and gentle environment with many child and teen focused options (toothpaste and fluoride options, iPads, movies). Scheduling is convenient. I’ve never had appointment delays. When an appointment needed to be rescheduled for an unforeseen staff illness, I was offered to reschedule for as soon as the very next day. We have always had positive experiences and will continue to return for our children’s dental needs.

Been going to this dental clinic since 2019 and the staff there are all wonderful. Sherry in scheduling is great and Natasha is so patient and does a wonderful job with knowing how to talk and handle my little 5 year old that I have a tough time with sometimes taking to dentist appointments. Would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I really liked this dentist when we first started going, but over the last year, the vibe really changed. The dentist stopped showing us the x-rays automatically, instead I get told there’s another cavity and go schedule the appointment to fill it and that’s that. It just feels a little impersonal and like they’re not trying to do anything else to help. The last thing that kind of put me over was the receptionist acting shocked the last two times I’ve been there when I needed to schedule the filling a month out or spread out appointments. My insurance does not cover the whole price of fillings. They are $100+ and I literally had to tell her, I am a single mom, I don’t just have extra money lying around (which someone shouldn’t have to explain). One of my daughter’s fillings ended up falling out too, for no reason. I instead went to my dentist that I go to and they offered my daughter preventative measures that are super well priced so that fillings aren’t necessary, especially for teeth that are going to fall out soon. Even their filling prices were slightly cheaper and the receptionist was super nice and let me schedule the appointments when I needed to, without question or hesitation. Plus, they care about you as a person and even remember things you told them from the previous time you were there. Overall young Kidz is pretty good for a dentist, just left me with a bad vibe.

My son, Rylin, goes to Young Kidz Dental since he was 3 yo. He’s 5 now and he loves it there. Dr. Young is extremely patient and nice as well as his hygienists. The office is VERY kid friendly with really cool and cute sea creatures hanging all over the ceilings and walls. We used to live 3 mins from this office but moved to Camas, WA almost 2 years ago. We love the office and the staff so much, we make the 30 min commute there--it’s totally worth it for the experience. After every visit, every child gets a cool prize/toy they get to pick from. This office is definitely children friendly--from the staff, decor, and set-up! Very clean and spacious office too.

We love Young Kidz Dental! My daughter has been coming here every 6 months since she was 2 (she’s 5 now), and has had the best experience. Amazing staff, very welcoming atmosphere, prizes at the end of each visit - look nowhere else!
