Dr. Ian Pham, DMD

Ian was very nice and efficient, did take an hour for xrays because the receptionist/assistant didn’t completely know how to set things up properly without the dentist. I’m very anxious of the dentist and would’ve liked to know I was a "test subject" per say beforehand but she was very friendly and kept my anxiety at bay. Will definitely be back for more work done!

My wife recently went to Family Dentistry of Tualatin. My wife was very please with their office, so I decided to make an appointment for myself. The woman at the front desk is friendly and helpful. I try to take good care of my teeth, but was told I brush and floss with too much force. Because of this my gums are starting to recede. Dentist visits make me very uncomfortable and I truthfully to not enjoy the experience. Dr. Pham understood my concerns and surprisingly made me feel at ease. He cleaned my teeth himself, with care, and explained everything thoroughly. I feel he did a good job. I will be back in the future. Thank you Family Dentistry of Tualatin.

The front desk lady at Family Dentistry of Tualatin is friendly, very helpful and a pleasure to be around. I have gone twice now, for a cleaning and 2 fillings and it’s the best work I’ve ever had done from once I entered until I left. Will definitely continue to come here for any of my dental needs. Highly recommend Doctor I’m Pham!!

My daughter needed a replacement for a crown. The work was very poor, and we are having to find another dentist to repair it. He also inappropriately billed us a co-pay when he had a contract for full payment with worker’s comp. The work done by our local dentist had no gap, no discoloration, natural-appearing grooves, smooth appearance. Dr. Pham’s work, which has created a large gap, is highly discolored, and with closer inspection, looks very fake in construction. The other dentist’s work did not require any follow-up buffing or anything, so that is not a factor in the observable quality. We are having to get this repaired by another dentist.

Writing this on behalf of my mom, Karen. She had a horrible experience with Dr. Pham. His receptionist is wonderful, but he is possibly the most atrocious medical professional I’ve ever heard of in my life. From the time my mom called to get an appointment with him he was rude and acted like she was an inconvenience for even speaking to him. She went in for her first appointment since before the pandemic and the first thing he did was snap at her to fill out paperwork which she did. She waited 45 minutes as he said he had an emergency, then when she finally went in he mocked her handwriting (said her T’s looked like D’s), then got angry because her blood pressure was high (she has high blood pressure because of a pre-existing condition). He thumped on her teeth and got angry when she wasn’t sure which tooth was in pain, but she has teeth problems so her pain is widespread. When she asked if she could get a cleaning, he rudely yelled at her that he wasn’t an emergency dentist. Just a generally rude, horrible doctor who made my mom cry after he sent her away with a penicillin prescription. Most awful experience and we will NEVER go back or recommend him to anyone. His nurse is lovely but he has no business being a dentist or working with the public.
