Gladstone Family Dentistry

Finally got dental coverage from my company and was told to look in network for a good company to work with. Had some emergency work that needed to be done but wasn’t imperative. I reached out to Gladstone family dental and gave them my insurance information. they said that they were in network and set up a time for me to come down. I made my way down and had my situation rectified to ant the end find out that my insurance would not be covering it. Then decided to pay Cash to take care of the situation and the receptionist set my appointment for the following week in order to come in and have my cleaning done . I called the morning to confirm My appointment only to find that there was no appointment, but then I begin to explain the situation and the women became defensive and she began to get into a argument with me that she told my wife that my insurance wouldn’t cover the procedure last week which is why I had to pay full price. None of the story was true as I do not have a wife and no woman called on my behalf and I never disclosed my insurance will not be covering any of this. Needless to say they wanted to push my appointment up, but after having two very awkward experiences with people who were supposed to be incredibly full disclosure, I decided I’m going to take my business elsewhere. I would be very careful of the practices of dental facility, very nice and upfront when you meet them , but then will blame you for the mistakes that they make. Use caution.

I went to this dentist a couple years ago. They told me I had a small cavity near the surface. They filled the tooth, but I was left with tooth pain for a whole year. I went back to their office 2-3 times asking for them to fix it. Eventually, they told me they didn’t know how. I went to a different dentist I found by referral. That dentist fixed the issue within 30 minutes. I would avoid this dentist office.

My very first visit they tried to sell me on a $3,000 gum treatment. I was told, "If you can’t afford it, there are financing options available!". I don’t know about you, but I don’t have expendable income to incur another bill. I subsequently had two fillings done, both of which cracked due to being too thin. When I went to get the first crack repaired, they did not thicken the other side of the tooth, so it cracked again on the still-thin side (as did the other filling they did). They admitted fault, and still tried to charge me for the repair! I will never go back and will be seeking a different provider to fix the cracks that they caused.

Gladstone Family Dentistry is a must go to for you dental needs. Dr. Krause and Dr. Kato really know how to keep you at ease. The team and office staff are very helpful and very kind. 25 years plus with them ... They are definitely the best!

I have been going to Gladstone Family Dentistry for 5 years now. Dr. Krause is great. Love all the girls up front. Going to the dentist has always been hard for me but they make Goin there easy. So glad I found them.
