I’m a client at the Loretto location, but my experience for an emergency dental visit at this dentist (Bustleton location with Dr. Stephansky Irina) was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Despite my concerns and clear indication of severe pain, the dentist Stephansky Irina rushed me into a $750 root canal treatment that turned out to be unnecessary. I felt cornered and unheard, forced to accept her judgment despite my instincts, but left with the pain unresolved. Aside from that, she was very rude and nasty before and during the procedure. The next day, my regular dentist diagnosed a simple gum infection, prescribing antibiotics and mouthwash, resolving the issue without the unnecessary expense and stress. I would caution others to seek a second opinion before agreeing to any treatments at this practice. The dentist did not listen to my concerns and seemed more interested in pushing unnecessary treatments rather than addressing the immediate issue. I would not recommend this dentist to others seeking compassionate and effective care. I tried calling the office manager to express my issues but have not received a response.

My children & I have been coming to A1 Family Dental for many years. I have always had a great experience starting with the front desk, hygienist & finally the dentist. Staff have always treated me kindly and were attentive to me as I am a nervous patient. My only recommendation on improvement would be the return of evening and/or Saturday appointments as this would assist patients who work during the day to come in. I would also like to see dentist retention. There has been changes in staffing and I would prefer to keep the same dentist if possible. Overall a great office.

I give 5 stars due to the way that the staff and dentist took time woth me to listen! Such a wonderful consultation and I was really happy with the way I was able to get seen so soon and that I was able to get a payment plan that would accommodate my income! I got my front teeth done the way I always dreamed of and I would not put a price on that! Dr Rebecca is wonderful and Dr Vine the hygienist is so thorough! Thank you for making my experience great!

Dr. Rebecca is heaven sent. I’ve been to many dentists throughout the years and not one was able to do what she did, which she did in a matter of minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend! I look forward to working not only in obtaining the smile I’ve always wanted, but in improving my over all oral/mental/physical health. One final thing… If you’re afraid of needles, she’s the one to go to, because I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort.

Outstanding Staff and Service As a former employee of a dental office, my standard of care expectations are much higher than most. I went for an emergency appointment and was quickly seen the same day. Dr. John took care of my emergency with ease. The front desk at the time (Amanda) talked me in to coming back for a cleaning. After some hesitation, I agreed to see Roxy the hygienist. Any time I have had a cleaning in the past I always leaving bleeding and crying. Cleanings are painful for me due to my gum disease and lack of routine care. Roxy was extremely gentle and caring! She checked on my comfort often through the visit. I left happy! No bleeding or crying! Of course I needed some fillings, to be expected when you don’t go for routine cleanings. I was there today to start my fillings and the ENTIRE visit was pleasant! Dr. John and his assistant kept me laughing and worked quickly and efficiently. I can’t recall have a filling done while smiling!! I have to go back for more but I look forward to Nipa’s (Front Desk) warm greeting and smile, Dr. John’s bedside manner and the care and concern from the assistant. They used to have a number a dentists and people who could care less about your phobias or your comfort. NOT THE CASE NOW!! Whatever changed, please keep up the good work. I am beyond impressed and will be a patient for a long time. Thank You to all of the staff, I am grateful that a nice office is available to me.
