Beautiful office, friendly staff & Exceptional customer service. Great dental experience always with Dr.Hatam and her lovely team , everyone is extremely friendly and they are very efficient. As a new patient for Dr.Mendlow he is extremely professional and takes his time to do everything right. Highly recommended .

I can’t even begin to explain how difficult my situation was and has been, yet Dr Hatam and her staff took care of me and continue to no matter what happens. When I first walked into their office, I couldn’t even talk, I had so much anxiety and fear from past dental experiences, it’s not that I’m happy to see ANY dentist but, I no longer have that fear and anxiety. I could not recommend them more.

Dr. Hatam is not only a very caring and patient Periodontist, she Willingly takes the time to explain everything in an understandable fashion and instill great confidence in her surgical skill. Even though I knew she had other patients waiting, she took the time to LA my fears about a major oral surgery procedure. Her staff is obviously well trained and “patient friendly“.

I waited a while before writing this review because I wasn’t sure if my experience was normal amongst other periodontal offices, but after having an extremely wonderful experience with another office, I realized that my experience here was the exception amongst the profession and not the rule... I visited this office at the referral of my general dentist after experiencing severe gum pain. My introduction to the office and staff was great, and I was excited to get this issue taken care of. I filled out all the forms days ahead of time, including the insurance information, and assumed my insurance would be consulted before my visit and I would be informed ahead of time of what I owe. It was quite the opposite. After my 15 minute consultation, I was informed of the treatment I needed, and felt pressured to complete the procedure today (that was not my plan). I was told the procedure would cost me $525 dollars that I was required to pay TODAY and then "insurance would reimburse me". Well, what is my insurance willing to pay? They didn’t know...Well, what will they pay for today’s consultation? They didn’t know... So I explain that I simply don’t have $500 to drop at the last minute for a procedure I didn’t wake up knowing I was getting today, so I agreed to pay for the consultation/exam (that, again, took 15 minutes). I would come back at a later date to do the procedure. I was told "ok...but remember, this issue is only going to get worse!" Yeah...I know. That’s the whole reason I’m here... I get to the front desk assuming I would pay maybe $100 for a consultation and would get reimbursed for about 65% of it later...Nope...It was $200 for this short visit and, months later, I found out I get reimbursed from my insurance for NOTHING because I had already had my 2 allowable dental exams for the year (the 2 that I have with my general dentist) and there was no way for this periodontist to bill any other way for me to get some sort of coverage. I was simply "out of luck" and out $200. The whole experience felt extremely predatory. I’ve never been to any medical professional who never consults the insurance ahead of time and tells their patients to "hope" that insurance will reimburse them for any kind of consultation or procedure. I found another office on my own, told them my experience here, and felt extremely heard and validated, had a full, 45 MINUTE, exam that my insurance PAID FOR, and left there feeling even more sure that my experience here was not the norm. I will be receiving my insurance predetermination from this office soon and will be getting my treatment done there. If you choose this office, PLEASE be aware that they will not work with your insurance ahead of time. Please do your own work and be sure you are fully aware ahead of time of what your insurance will or will not cover, because they won’t do it for you.

The facility is pristine and calming, with beautiful views from each chair. The staff is professional, friendly, efficient and supportive. From the moment I met Dr. Hatam, I was impressed with her empathy, attentiveness to detail, and clinical excellence. I felt completely comfortable proceeding with the procedure she recommended , and am so appreciative that she made the time to address my problem immediately despite a tight schedule.
