Very happy with my toddler’s dental visit! The doctor’s operatory is enclosed and a great help to minimize noise and distractions. Within this quiet area, my child was able to focus on Dr Allison’s instructions— which were cleverly disguised as “games”! I appreciated Dr Allison’s skill of keeping the appointment flow at my child’s pace, pausing when necessary, and her kindness in chatting with my child. She explained every step of the appointment to my child and I loved that he was able to participate hands-on with the different mirrors/ tooth brushes/ pastes. Incredible dental care by her team, and smiles through and through!

Terrible communication. Seems like all they care about it money. We have been going here for 5 years and recently had to cancel for the 1st time ever. I was told there would be a $50 fee per child. Ok so I’ll have to pay it. Then I get a phone call saying they would waive the fee and asked if I would like to reschedule. I told them I would have to call them back. When I called back a few days later they said they weren’t going to waive the fee because I had to make the appointment that day. After explaining that I was never told that and giving me a hard time about it- I was told by Brittney that they would waive the fee again (For the 2nd time). Now when trying to make an appointment, they have nothing open until August so I ask to have them make a note in my kids files for any cancellations. Great, so now I think everything is resolved. Wrong! Now my husband gets a call saying we have an unpaid balance. At this point I just pay and move onto a new practice. It is not worth the back and forth of waiving the fee vs not waiving the fee. The lack of communication is terrible!!

Highly recommend this practice. Dr. Rose is a great dentist - kind, patient, and thorough. The office staff is friendly and efficient. The waiting room has lots of fun games and prizes - makes the dentist a fun experience for kids!

SUPER SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES! Avoid at all costs! I don’t know where to begin. Dr Allison and her staff have always been friendly, until I had an issue. Then they become cold and short. They make you pay upfront before they bill your insurance. If you overpay, which you probably will, good luck getting your money back. They accept your insurance and say you are in-network, but then find out you are out of network. They only do composite fillings. They DO NOT do amalgam. Most insurance companies will not cover composite. My son had a filling done in a molar in the fall of 2022. By Christmas, that filling fell out. He had it replaced on January 4th, 2023. THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT BILL MY INSURANCE. They billed my insurance for an “exam”, even though they re-filled the tooth. Technically they couldn’t bill for the filling because of the short amount of time it lasted, but their shady business practices needed money somehow. So they pulled one over on me, hoping I wouldn’t notice. My insurance company has been notified of this fraudulent claim. Then 3 WEEKS after that filling, it fell out AGAIN. She’s blaming my 5 year old for grinding at night. He’s now had it filled a third time. He’s petrified of the dentist because of this. He was afraid to tell me when it fell out again because he doesn’t want to go back. We are switching providers, but when this filling falls out AGAIN, which I’m guessing sure it will, I will have to pay out of pocket once again for a simple filling that should have been done correctly the first time. This filling cost me almost $300 out of pocket the first time and I have good insurance! That is $300 I should get back because of their terrible quality. They are shady, money hungry, and their service is poor quality. There is no reason why a simple filling in a 5 year old child, if done correctly, would last 3 months and then only 3 weeks. Miss Tammie is the ONLY good thing I can say about this office. She is kind and caring.

I have taken my two sons to Collegeville Pediatric Dentistry for the past several years. Both boys are happy to have their appointments with Dr. Allison. She is gentle, calm, and fun. My older son has had a tooth pulled and a few cavities filled, and he has always felt comfortable. I really like that Dr. Weiss’ (orthodontist) office is connected - it has been convenient for us on more than one occasion. During the shut-down, the Collegeville Pediatric Dentistry office communicated regularly via email to keep patients and their families up to date. They modified their waiting room and other practices to keep their little patients and their families safe. I have recommended this practice to several other families over the years and will continue to do so.
