I had a tooth extraction done by Dr. Garrison, and it was a very positive experience. He met w/me first to explain the procedure and to make sure I understood it. I had the best of care from him and his surgical nurse, Shelby. I am healing nicely and know they are there for me if I have concerns. I highly recommend this practice

Mixed experience with this practice. Making the appointment for wisdom teeth extraction went very well and inspired confidence. But the promises made when the appointment was made never panned out. We received no pre-op instructions like dietary restrictions, no cost estimate they said would be provided ahead of time, they hadn’t even contacted the primary dentist to get the X-rays, etc. All this despite the insurance info, dentist info, etc being given to them when the appointment was made over a month ahead of time. Not a big deal in the great scheme of things but it affected expectation management with the office staff not following through with what was promised.

Dr.Alderman is truly the best! From teeth extraction, bone graft and dental implants, I can tell you he is one of the best! I am so glad my dentist recommended Dr.Alderman! I would never go to anyone else. Highly recommend Dr. Alderman.

Dr. Kelly and dental assistance or hygienist I’m not sure Olivia and Samantha are the dream team. I went in there crying and in pain and they got me out within an hour. Olivia was so kind and made sure that I was comfortable. Samantha was very informative And efficient. Dr. Kelly was very professional and accessed my pain without me having to say a word. He noticed that my feet were shaking and knew that I was in pain and ordered pain relief right away. I thought that was so amazing just to look at a patient and tell what they need without them having to say anything, especially since I really couldn’t. The experience was just great overall. Even though I could hear all of the sounds of my tooth coming out, I didn’t feel a thing. Olivia and Dr. Kelly warned me about the sounds before hand which helped and we listened to music. I have never said this before but I went to this office in pain and left feeling better than ever!! Thank you to everyone. I was able to get a same-day appointment and I’m just so grateful. This is the first time I had tears of joy honestly. ❤️

I would not recommend taking kids here, especially children with special needs. My husband took our 9 year old this morning for a tooth extraction. They tried to take him back by himself at first. After speaking with the front desk his dad was able to meet him in his room. The nurse was very short and visibly annoyed with both my husband for coming back and my son for his nervous fidgets. (He’s has autism) My husband was doing his best to keep him calm and find a show while he was waiting for him to fall asleep. Shortly after the nurse told him he needed to leave before he went to sleep. Knowing this wasn’t going to end well, my husband went out to pull his truck to the side of the building upon instruction from staff. In that short period of time he entered the building to loud screaming. The nurse said that our son was requesting his dad. He initially thought that he had just panicked because he couldn’t have been put under that quickly? Or so he thought..He walked into the room to find him screaming in pain with blood all over him. The nurse was just standing there doing absolutely nothing to help. He eventually asked for something to clean him up. She handed him a rag doused in what smelled like rubbing alcohol. As he’s cleaning him up the nurse is passive aggressively telling our kid it would stop bleeding if he’d leave the gauze alone. Any child that is scared and in pain isn’t going to take directions well, especially a kid with special needs. Her behavior was only adding fuel to the fire instead of calming him down. So my husband then requested to speak with Dr. Alderman. The nurse reluctantly went to get him, he apologized for her behavior and said that our son was good to go. He was so sedated that he was unable to walk and had to be carried to the truck. We were sent home with no gauze or post-op care instructions. I’m absolutely appalled with the entire experience.
