Great office! Wonderful staff and awesome dentist! They took great care of my baby who has been having feeding troubles. Dr. Brett took the time to explain and make us feel comfortable with the procedure our baby girl needed. For sure will be making the drive back for our other kiddos !

I was told by a dentist at Just for Kids Teeth that both of my children (4 and 5 at the time) had small cavities (1 each). Before even scheduling the appointment for the fillings they had me sign a form proving I was informed that I wasn’t allowed to be present in the room during the fillings. It made me really uncomfortable so scheduled them at another office for a second opinion. I had their X-rays sent to the new office and was told by the dentist there that he didn’t see any cavities on the X-rays or in either child’s mouth.

Your child may be crying and they will still not allow you to go to the back to comfort them during a procedure due to “policy” and “safety reasons”. As a parent we are advocates for our children. As a service that caters to children, i don’t understand how they think it’s okay not to honor a child and a parents request to be together during a procedure. This policy says something about who their priority is - themselves and their convenience. I’ve been in Healthcare a long time. When these policies come up it’s a HUGE red flag- it tells me that there is a provider in the office that lacks confidence and therefore does not want a parent in the room. It’s quite scary and should make anyone think twice about bringing their child here. My kids have been going to the dentist (different out of state dentist) since they were 2 years old. I have never had any issues, not even when my son was tiny and had to have a filling. Recently, both of my boys have needed molars pulled out. Both boys expressed that they were not numb enough and felt a lot of pain during their procedures. One of my boys needed to return for more work and for the first time EVER, he was very nervous to go back with them alone. He asked me if I could go back with him so I could help tell them if he needed more pain medicine. When I brought this up to the front desk, their answer was a firm and definite no. From the front desk to the tech they just kept telling me that I signed the consent for him to go to the back alone. This just upset me and consequently upset my son who refused to have any work done. The doctor then suggested that he would likely need to have IV anesthesia. Again, this is a child that has never had an issue with the dentist when he was a toddler and he’s a school aged child now. This could all have been avoided if the staff was better trained and used common sense instead of repeatedly quoting a policy that has no place in a service for children. We parents should be allowed the option to be available to soothe our children’s anxieties, ripping a parent away from a child is not helpful and it’s quite sad that this place thinks that this is okay. **I will say that while everyone was confrontational and kept referring to the “consent” and their “policy”, I have to give major credit to Ginger who was able to calmly listen to my concerns and diffuse the situation. Rather than go head to head with me, she listened. While I still do not agree with the rule that a parent can’t supervise their child in the back rooms, even when they are nervous and scared, I do commend Gingers ability to be professional. Thank you and please reconsider this policy as you are dealing with minors. As for us, we have moved on to a provider who aligns to our families needs. I would suggest other families do the same.

Dentist was fine until real dental work was actually needed. They do not have all the services in house (aka “anesthesia) therefore possible occurring outside costs separate from the dental office. They quote you high prices and adding additional services you probably won’t even need due to the dentist not being as experienced and still fairly new. I was quoted almost $2000+ for my son to just have crowns put on $1400 of it due immediately to an anesthesiologist to come in from the outside. They tried quoting price for 8 teeth when there was no issue with 8 but again because the dentist is not as experienced he had to quote higher even if all 8 were not being done. Because this is my money and it’s coming out of my pocket/insurance I went for a 2nd opinion at Sumner Pediatric Dentistry. I ended up getting the same work done for a quarter of the cost $600. Dentist had decades of experience and knew exactly what needed to be done quoted fair price less shady billing practices. They were able to do an X-ray something Just 4 kids tried to say he was too young for. All in all so glad I made the switch from this place. Highway robbery if you ask me. But anywho proceed with caution. No response needed from dentist office on this review as I’ve already talked to you all several times on phone everything could have been said then. Great day everyone. XOXO

Best children’s dentist ever! It’s a nice, clean, office with nice and professional staff. They also have emotion support lap dogs to help with kids who are scared or have a hard time sitting still. I defiantly recommend.
