This negative review is mostly targeted at the doctor himself. I’m sure the rest of the staff is great. This “provider” does not make for a safe or welcome environment for new patients. This doctor has shown bias and a severe lack of empathy. I’m happy I am not a patient here and based on negative feedback I’ve gotten from someone who would have been a prospective patient, it doesn’t seem like a place I’d ever even consider trying. You want a great dental experience where people show care and want to inspire great dental habits? Try Triosi Dental in Chesapeake. This place, you should avoid if you care about yourself and are looking for a dental provider that cares about you.

I am a ’self pay’ client. Did you know they offer a 12% discount if you pay ’by check or cash’? (The front office ’neglected’ to tell me that the first time I was there for my $235 bill.) The second time I had work done and the bill was over $700. As I was paying, I asked the lady if there is a ’self pay’ discount. ’Yes. 12%...but you can only pay by check or cash. You can’t use your bank debit card.’ (?) I asked her why she didn’t tell me this the last time. ’Oh, I forgot. And you paid with your bank card so I can’t recover it.’ Luckily I had 5 year old checks in my bag, because I was literally going to go to an ATM/bank and get CASH...The only good thing was I ’saved’ $80 by asking, AND using a CHECK! WooHOO! The dentist (I don’t remember his name bc he did not TELL me, and was cold and unfriendly) seemed put off bc I was asking him exactly what he was going to do---I saw drills and allll kinds of stuff for fillers?..not FILLINGS. He just came in and started working. No greeting, no ’how are you’, nothing...I literally stopped him, and asked him what he was going to do. He totally stressed me out. Also, IMO, I think it’s shady/bad business to NOT automatically tell clients about a ’self pay’ discount, and apply it.(...Oh, and, FOX News was on the TV in there too. Ick.) (I just got this reply: "Ms. Kat Wallace, I’m truly sorry you had a poor experience during your last visit. It is our goal to help all patients feel welcome, cared for, and satisfied. If we did not meet that goal during your visit, please reach out to the office to discuss the protocol for a better understanding." ) Well, guess what? The work the dentist did on me? $235/tooth? Has FAILED. Totally disappeared. Now I have to go get it REDONE. Seriously. DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE.

My visit was nice. Everyone was friendly. Sorry I was to late to give Dr. Ron Kondoff a good bye for his retirement. He was my dentist since the 80’s. Hope to get to know the new staff and have nice dental care from them all.

Excellent service before and during my visit. I had to cancel a previous appointment but was placed on the call list. I received multiple calls backs to get me in sooner and I really appreciate the effort in following up with clients. Always had great experiences and this one was no difference. Keep up the great work this is an awesome dentist office.
