Virginia Family Dentistry Mechanicsville

I can’t brag enough about this dentistry... From the scheduling to the overall atmosphere they are the best hands down.... My son and I have had trouble finding a dental practice that would accept my insurance(delta dental). I called and was able to be seen within the next week as a new patient.... Jessica and Dr.Sykes have made this experience so enjoyable... I love their friendliness and knowledge.

I hate to leave this review but I have too. I have been a patient since I was a child. I had a small balance go to collections I called to paid it this morning. However they said that they have to get paid back first before they will schedule me. They said it could take two to three months !! That is an absolute joke and this place does not care about their patients. It’s unfortunate because the dentist that I see here Dr Flanagan is amazing and very kind. Unfortunately he works for a corrupt office. Stay away from this place if you want to have quality care. I’m over here in so much pain and they won’t see me even though I paid what I owed. I will be sure to spread the word. I am livid. Update: I spoke with the office manager and she was very kind and reasonable. She said she would call the collection company to confirm I paid and get me scheduled. They are very lucky they have such a good manager. Glad I called to talk to her!

Jessica does a great job cleaning my teeth! She is very sweet and I appreciate the kindness and care she provides me. I used to hate going to the dentist when I was a kid. Now I can’t wait to go!

As a a new patient with Virginia Family Denistry the care I received was wonderful! Starting with the receptionist checking me in who was friendly and efficient to the fantastic care from the hygienist who took full X-rays and inventoried my teeth and then cleaned them. Princess was kind, thorough and professional.The best cleaning of my teeth! Dr. Flanagan was personable and also thorough. He examined my teeth and discussed care. I’m so glad I chose this office it was an incredibly relaxing time for being at the dentist! I highly recommend!

I had a really great experience at Virginia Family Dentistry. They are timely and everyone is pleasant. I came to see Dr. Forte for a root canal after having second thoughts about another provider. I am glad I did. He was very knowledgeable but also provided specific details about what was going on and what to expect. His assistant Summer was also pleasant.
