Dr. Lubbe was insensitive, emotional, and rude. He doesn’t seem to be suited for working with children. I had a bad experience and then after talking to other parents found out about his story on the news where he admittedly covered a crying girl’s mouth. We decided to go to a different dentist. As for the reply, I can’t believe you’re discussing my child’s medical treatment...

Dr. Lubbe is honest and will let you know when costly work for baby teeth is not needed. He stands by his work and has a good rapport with all of my children. We are pleased.

Dentist Lubbe would not allow me to accompany my 8 year old grandson while he had him under nitrous oxide (laughing gas). He would not even come to the lobby to discuss.

He was the first dentist my two children had back in 2013-2015/2016, and they hated him, my son especially. He was rough and not nice, so my children said, but I chalked it up to be just normal dental procedure and child fear. My last visit there was for my 5 year old son back in 2015 (or 2016), we were in the waiting room, when it came time for him to go back there, my son cried because he didn’t like Dr. Lubbe because he was mean, and me being very pregnant, and handling my toddler too, I tried my best to talk him into going since I couldn’t physically pick him up and take him — luckily, the waiting room was empty, it was around their lunch break, but that still didn’t ease my embarrassment and sense of hopelessness. The dentist, however, never came out, was never personable nor helpful like the other dentists in the same office; he instead sent a nurse out to tell me he’s dropping my son as a patient. Shocked and dumbfounded, and honestly broken, I questioned the nurse and I cried. So when the receptionist tried to schedule an appointment for my daughter, I told her if he was dropping my son then I’d be taking my daughter from him too. I went out to the parking lot and cried for a good while, I blamed my son and “grounded” him basically because I thought he was just being unruly… Now looking back, knowing what I know about this dentist, I’m sorry I ever thought it was my son’s fault. Of course my daughter told me stories of the dentist being mean and physical with my son after we left the place, but her being so young, I thought I couldn’t prove a thing, and I knew we weren’t ever going back to him after how cold he was. I’m glad he finally got in trouble for his actions to the children that trusted him!

Abusive to children. Traumatized my children. Threatened me in front of my children, will use cps to try to extort money from you. Will try to destroy your life when you don’t feel comfortable with him working on your children so you choose to go elsewhere because he is aggressive and smug and again THREATENED ME...next thing you know cps is at your door for 2 fillings and one unnecessary extraction.
