I went there with my husband to have our teeth cleaned and was a new patient. He is deaf and the office receptionist tried fake signing when she mentioned he was deaf to the doctor. The doctor has zero personality and was extremely rude. I had my cell phone in my hand, just holding it, not texting or talking and she said in a rude tone to put my phone in my pocket. I can’t imagine the care this woman gives if she behaves this way to a new patient, let alone new patients. Needless to say we let the appointment.

This dentist is so mean. Face and demeanor is stoic the entire time. She is rude. I didn’t hear her say hi and when I said good morning she snapped at me because she said ignored her greeting (which I didn’t hear). She made me feel really stupid (in her tone of how she asks questions or suggests things in a condescending way), when she did my evaluation for my root canal. When she put a temporary filling for my root canal she refused ti adjust it after I told her the bite was too high. I wouldn’t recommend at all. I only came here because my dentist upstairs from her couldn’t accommodate my Medicaid insurance due to job loss, and she was the only one that could take me. I will never make the mistake of returning even if it’s my last option. I had a total of two visits here. People don’t run to or enjoy going to the dentist, so the best you can do is make the experience a bit more pleasant and be friendly. The receptionist was a sweetheart though.

This lady is the reason why I avoided dental offices for over 2 years. I had a cleaning done by her and she was not friendly, knickers my gums while she was cleaning them and did not apologize. Very emotionless.. horrible bedside manner. I now have anxiety every time I go to the dentist. Looking at the other reviews, I don’t understand why she is still able to practice. I wouldn’t even recommend a dog to get their teeth cleaned by her...

I admit I have issues but this was the worst dental experience ever. This doc is emotionless barely said much, showed no interest in truly helping all she did was highlight my obvious problems. She failed to give any solutions from a dental perspective since she claimed she couldn’t help me at all ! I felt rushed and as if I did not matter. I felt like she didn’t want to really do the work. An absolute waste of time and I felt even worse leaving.

I’ve been going to Dr. Thompson ever since I’ve moved to Laurel 20 years ago. My treatment has been with great care while also being provided with tips for areas I need to pay special attention to. Scheduling an appointment is a breeze. Her office has been very helpful in helping me navigate HSA/FSA payments since I have switch multiple jobs over the years.
