The only reason Affiliated Dental received any stars on this review is because of Erica (hygienist) and Dr. Orbon—they’re awesome. The company has gone downhill over the past 6-8 months—I cannot get anyone on the phone; I received a call asking for patient portion payment yesterday before today’s appointment. Not once in 14 years has this been an issue, and then to get a call saying $300+ was owed BEFORE today’s appointment. Things are so unprofessional now. We are transferring our records to another dental practice.

TERRIBLE DENTIST!! We had been coming here for a few years. Our main dentist went out for medical leave and we saw a new one who had no real plan in place for filling cavities on my girls. The previous dentist used nitrous however this dentist was going to use a different route but failed to tell us anything that would happened. For my other child his plan for a cavity involved filling, maybe a root canal, or if neither of those worked he’d pull it. As I questioned him he became more and more distraught and unable to explain anything and then mentioned his last day was the following Monday. The dental hygienist wanted to make a care plan for me for both girls however this dentist refused to let her. Everything was so off putting. My husband have called daily for over a week requesting the X-rays to be emailed to us. We have set to receive the X-rays nor has anyone from the office called us back!! That place has gone down hill and customer service is absolutely terrible!!!

Our son is a handful most of the time. He is not a Big fan of appointments…whether they be for a haircut or a check up! 😂 I had a couple horrible experiences as a child. I’m not a big fan of the dentist & I was so worried about bringing him for the first time. I was Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. He did the best I’ve ever seen him do.❤️ He’s wonderful there. He loves Going to the dentist and everyone there. He does such a great job & so do they. 👍🏼

My 3 years had his first dentist appointment and the staff was amazing! Francisco did an amazing job ensuring he knew what was happening and he wasn’t nervous during his entire appointment.

My son has been seeing Dr. Maddox for past 2 3 years. He is very friendly, caring and receptive. The place is always kept clean and provides a kids friendly atmosphere. The best part of the office is the aquarium and the sea animal theme. My son loves looking at the fish and the decor. They have a similar office decor at both Gurnee and Vernon Hills location.
